Just a quick message, once again, to pre-announce the next development release of GIMP, GIMP 2.99.12.

I was previously planning to release it within July, but what I had in my roadmap for this version took longer than hoped. So I have pushed my new hopeful release date for the second half of August.

This will be a pretty exciting release, with stuff happening on all fronts: improved image format support, many bug fixes, GTK porting, plug-in API work, a lot of maintenance updates and very nice improvements or new features.

然程、経たずに、　ご対面 が可能になりそうですね。

あ～、待ち遠しい。　　:)
