GIMP 2.10.14 クラッシュ対応 新インストーラー公開

Windows 配下の GIMP 2.10.14 において、
謎のクラッシュが報告されていました。
原因究明がなされ、次期バージョンを待たずに、修正版が公開されています。

I wanted to change the color profil. so i reinstalled 2.8 because there it is a plug in.
But as i cant open my 2.10 files in 2.8 I reinstalled 2.10 again.
Since then always when i want to resize or change the position of the textfiled (which starts with "Wer:")
Gimp will crash

GIMP keeps crashing while I'm using it at random times. No matter how large or small the file is, it crashes. Files with more layers seem to crash within close to 7 minutes at most, where files with at most 7 layers seem to crash in a couple of hours. It's not enough time to work on anything!

This would likely have been a lurking problem before as well, that now gets more efficiently provoked. We should probably apply a similar measure to all instances of g_open in gegl/buffer?

Yes I think so. It was already added in one of the predecessors: see commit 5d3d72a6

Please describe your issue with details.

• Until tonight, GIMP 2 has been fairly stable for years with only an occasional crash
• Upon double-click of XCF icon on desktop, GIMP 2 initializes, displaying start-up dialog.
• After loading its base files, switching to the user interface, and beginning to load the XCF tile-by-tile, the loading freezes, the GIMP interface closes, and a notification titled "C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\bin\gimp-2.10.exe" stating "Fatal error: unhandled exception" is displayed.
• Clicking "OK" closes the notification
• Upon either double-click of GIMP 2 icon on my desktop or single-click of GIMP 2 icon in my Start Menu, GIMP 2 initializes, displaying start-up dialog.
• GIMP loads its base files and switches to the user interface
• Selecting "Open" from the "File" menu and choosing an XCF displays a small DOS-style window titled ".\gimp-debug-tool2.0.exe"
• A debug dialog is displayed explaining how to make this report and providing the Bug Information posted below.
• Uninstalling version 2.10.14 and switching to version 2.10.0 made the problem even worse; now, GIMP 2 won't even progress beyond the start-up dialog.

次期のバージョンを待って、と、一部のレポートにありましたが、
現行の GIMP 2.10.14 のインストーラー更新での対応になった様です。.

ありがたいですね！。.

クラッシュを経験している方は勿論、
現行で問題無く動いている場合にも、
新インストーラーを入手し、GIMP を更新しておくべきと思います。.
